What a bad blogger am I!!!!!!
After 2 months I decided to let you share in something like........my new mallorquin life!
I'm inspired everyday of everything but not time to stop and let you know about it, I will improve myself :)

Well, I've been here for 6 weeks, wow time flies! And in these weeks I ate everywhere, as I use to, food is more than just feeding :)
It's funny how I prepared myself before coming here.
I'lll tell you what......when you're italian and you're about to leave Italy for staying in another country (doesn't matter if you are going for a week or for months) and you spend the week before eating all the special dishes thinking "when I will be there I won't eat anything because nothing will be delicious as I used to eat". And than you left, you find an amazing country with so many beautiful dishes. You start the week thinking " is just the first one, I have to try different flavors, I have to try because traveling is also discovering culinary culture........" ... and you realize how stupid you were and you start to find the way to stop this compulsive eating and finally you find it......gym every day!!!!! .......but is too late because you're already a big ball rolling.
That's happened with me as well, now I don't need any bike, I can just roll as a ball which is cheap......:)

Today I wanna introduce you to a really mallorquin place where everyone has to go.
A few days ago I went out for lunch, to spend my time with a special italian friend, Silvia!
I'm vegetarian and so many vegetarians restaurants are closed on sunday, WHAT A SHAME!
So, we had to please and find another place. Not itch for walking.....not itch for waiting for eating so the response was ES REBOST... Just have to go down stairs :)

Their Majorcan character reflects throughout the interior design of Es Rebost. They mostly use traditional, natural and authentic material, creating a unique sense of place. A spectacular, massive natural stone table from Binissalem awaits customers at the entrance. Cushions and wall panelling have been tailored with hand-woven traditional fabrics from Lloseta and historic photographs from the apricot, grape and cereal harvest decorate the walls. A large selection records of Majorcan musicians grant a pleasant and authentic musical background.

I ate a vegetarian Llonguest (mallorquin bread) with boiled eggs, tomato, salad, mayonnaise with chickpeas...Delicious. Fresh ingredients, fresh flavors, and you can choose to have a small one for € 2,95 or a big one for € 3,95......I've got the big one...of course rolling ball!!!!!

My friends had a sandwich with ham and cheese, normal dish but there are so many places where they even couldn't prepare it well. Not that case, the bread was well toasted and fresh ingredients in.

Let's talk about the best part of the lunch....the dessert!!!!
We both took a home made creamy dessert ( lemon custard tartly with merengue) with lemon and brown sugar. Delicious is reducing, unforgettable is the right word.
Good-tasting, freshness, summer flavors explosion,  mouth-filling of happiness, sun in the palate.
How could be possible to receive all these feelings only paying € 3,95??????

After making you want to go for a lunch there...........I say bye to everybody and I hope to find time to let you know more about the restaurants in the city. :)

Have a great sunday....
Hugs
